The burners are designed with raised ports and slide out for quick inspection and maintenance. Additionally, the low-profile automatic flue damper reduces the overall height of the unit while maintaining performance.
The system also comes with a diagnostic feature through the System Sentinel™ LED Diagnostic System, which uses glowing LED lights to verify system operations. It includes an energy-saving Direct Spark-to-Pilot Ignition System, which ensures the pilot light only ignites when there is a call for heat, improving energy efficiency.
The unit is designed for high altitude use, certified up to 5,000 feet for natural gas and 2,000 feet for LP, with an optional high altitude certification kit extending up to 8,000 feet.
